From a single vanlife adventure to a conversion workshop, every mile has shaped our craft.

Our adventure began in lockdown, not in a showroom or shiny magazine but a notepad. We didn't want compromise and we wanted to be able to have all of our home comforts on the road in all weathers year round, so we spent months researching products and designs that would fit our lifestyle.

We bought our first van (Rita, an ex pie & pastry delivery van) and with a career in the building trade and a love of interior design we set about building our dream camper.

We spent a year living full-time in our self-built camper, discovering first-hand what makes a mobile space truly functional. We learned that the secret to a great conversion isn't just aesthetics—it's about reliability, practicality, and the warmth of a place that feels like home regardless of the parking space.

Although no longer with us, Rita is still out there on adventures making memories with her new owner (Already racked up an impressive 200,000+ miles).

Fast forward to now - we transitioned from the road to the workshop where we bring that field-tested quality to fellow explorers. Today, PDD Conversions combines artisanal craftsmanship with modern engineering to create adventure-ready vehicles in a picture perfect location.
